White Wind

White Wind, as the chairperson of SAG NYC's board, was in charge of a lot of administrative duties, typically a good deal of paperwork, including going over the credentials of new applicants to the guild (that meant going through their logs of actionhero work), as one of many examples.  Today, she was filling in for the treasurer and running a bank errand.  Oh, she especially disliked doing mundane errands in her supersuit.  Everyone stared.  Sometimes she was applauded, thanked (which really wasn't so terrible), or asked to give autographs (which was quite time-consuming, and somewhat embarrassing).  Rarely she was outright attacked.
As luck would have it,  today would not turn out to be an easy day.  White Wind just turned to see four people in masks hustle into the bank.  "Nobody move!" Bellowed one of them as they pulled out guns.  One had a bag, and they were about to force the customers as hostages to one side of the bank.
"Poor idea," she called in the split second before acting.  Her eyes met one of the robber's as he realized they'd gone up against an actionhero.  She swept her hand out and a great burst of air knocked all of the patrons down, protecting them from the gunfire aimed at her.  A bullet caught her in the chest at the bulletproof vest, knocking her down.  Another windlash caught the back of one of the robber's knees as he attempted to pass her, knocking the person down.  In the next moment, she had flipped over on top of the robber, wresting the gun away and dodging the next bullet headed for her.
